The XL tube is what the Solo 3's larger heater was built around. It takes double the material of a standard Air or Solo aroma tube and moves more air through it, which is the difference between a Solo 3 running as a quick personal device and running as a proper session vaporizer.

Ninety millimetres long with a moulded glass screen already built in. This is a Solo 3 part specifically, and that matters.

Double The Capacity

Arizer's own wording is that the XL doubles your dose compared to the original Air and Solo glass aroma tubes. If you have found yourself reloading twice in a sitting, this is the fix, and it is the reason most Solo 3 owners end up leaving the XL fitted permanently.

Increased Airflow

The larger bowl comes with more airflow to match, so a full XL load draws as freely as a standard tube rather than feeling restricted. Bigger bowl, same easy draw.

Built-In Glass Screen

As with all Arizer aroma tubes, the screen is moulded into the glass. No metal screens to fit or lose, and Arizer's guidance is that you get better flavour without one anyway. Use a medium to coarse grind and pack to just below the rim.

Cleaning And Maintenance

Soak in 99% isopropyl alcohol for at least thirty minutes, rinse under warm water and dry completely, or use the utensils compartment of your dishwasher. Arizer recommends whole or coarsely ground material, lightly packed with a millimetre or two of headroom.
