What Does £50 Actually Get You?
More than you'd expect. A cheap dry herb vaporizer at this level won't match a premium device for flavour or build, but the fundamentals, reliable heating, decent battery life and easy operation, are all present in the devices we've chosen here. We stock the budget end selectively: everything in this collection is a device we'd happily recommend as a first vaporizer or a spare, not simply the cheapest thing available.
Who This Collection Is For
First-time vapers
If you're not yet sure vaping is for you, £50 is a sensible way to find out. Devices like the Yocan Hit 2 keep things simple, one button, clear temperature settings, easy cleaning, so the learning curve is minutes, not days. If you decide you love it, you'll upgrade with a much clearer idea of what you want.
Concentrate users on a budget
Budget money goes furthest in concentrate gear. Dependable dab pens and 510 batteries from Yocan sit well under £50 and perform far above their price.
Anyone needing a spare
A cheap, dependable second device means never being caught out by a flat battery or a device left at home. Plenty of premium-device owners keep one of these in the glovebox or travel bag.
When to Spend More
The honest answer: if flavour is your priority, the step up to true convection heating happens in the next bracket. Our under £100 collection is where devices from Xmax bring replaceable batteries and convection flavour into play, and it's the better home for your money if you can stretch to it.
Budget Vaporizer FAQs
Are cheap dry herb vaporizers any good?
The good ones are, and those are the only ones we stock. Expect honest performance and simple operation rather than premium flavour, with a full warranty either way.
What's the catch at this price?
Mostly conduction-only heating, smaller batteries and more plastic in the build. Nothing that stops them doing the job well.
