Who are Herbal Vaporizers?

Herbal Vaporizers is a UK retailer specialising in premium dry herb vaporizers and accessories. We bring together a carefully curated range of the best devices from trusted brands like Storz & Bickel, Arizer, Xmax, Tinymight, Nectar and Yocan, with nothing on our shelves we wouldn't happily use ourselves. Founded by an experienced online retailer with a genuine passion for cleaner alternatives to smoking, our focus is simple: to help you find the right vaporizer for the way you like to vape, and to back it up with honest, expert advice before and after you buy. Whether you're shopping for your very first portable vaporizer or upgrading to a desktop showpiece, we're here to make the whole experience easy.

Are your vaporizers 100% genuine?

Absolutely. Every vaporizer we sell is 100% genuine and sourced through official, authorised channels, never grey-market imports or counterfeits. That matters more than you might think: fake vaporizers can use poor-quality materials, perform badly and, crucially, won't be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. When you buy from Herbal Vaporizers, you can be confident you're getting the real thing, complete with full manufacturer warranty and genuine spare parts. If you ever have any doubt about authenticity, just get in touch and we'll be glad to put your mind at rest.

What if I want to speak to someone?

We're always happy to talk, whether you need a hand with an order or some honest advice on choosing the right vaporizer. You can reach our friendly UK-based team through the contact form on our website, and we aim to reply to every message quickly, usually within one working day. If you'd prefer, drop us an email and we'll get back to you just as promptly. We're genuine enthusiasts as well as a shop, so no question is too basic or too technical, from delivery queries to which device best suits the way you like to vape. However you get in touch, you'll be speaking to a real person who's glad to help.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently offer fast, fully tracked delivery throughout the United Kingdom, including mainland UK and many outlying areas. At checkout you'll see the delivery options and any costs that apply to your specific address. If you're based outside the UK and would like to know whether we can ship to your country, please get in touch before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible, along with any timescales or charges involved. We're always looking at ways to reach more customers, so it's worth asking even if you don't see your location listed at checkout.

How fast is delivery, and is it free?

Yes, we offer free next-day delivery on UK orders, so there's no extra charge to get your new vaporizer to you quickly. Every delivery is fully tracked as standard, and at checkout you'll see the available options along with any timed or premium upgrades you might want to add. There's no minimum-spend trickery and no hidden fees, just fast, free, reliable shipping on every order. If you'd like a specific delivery date, or you have a question about the options for your area, get in touch before you order and we'll let you know what we can arrange.

How long will it take to receive my order?

For UK orders, we aim to get your vaporizer to you as quickly as possible. Orders placed before our daily cut-off are typically dispatched the same working day, with delivery the next working day to most UK addresses; orders placed after the cut-off or over a weekend go out on the next working day. Once your parcel is on its way, we'll send tracking details so you can follow its journey to your door. Deliveries to more remote parts of the UK can occasionally take an extra day. If your order hasn't arrived when you expected it, just contact us with your order number and we'll chase it up straight away.

Can I cancel my order?

We aim to dispatch orders quickly, often the same working day, so the window to cancel is short, but we'll always do our best. If you've changed your mind, contact our team as soon as possible with your order number and we'll try to stop it before it leaves us. If your order has already been dispatched, we won't be able to cancel it in transit, but you're welcome to return it once it arrives under our standard returns policy, provided it's unused and in its original, unopened packaging. The quickest way to reach us is through our contact page, and the sooner you get in touch, the better the chance we can help.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, you can return unused items in their original, unopened packaging within the period set out in our returns policy for a refund or exchange. For hygiene and safety reasons, vaporizers that have been used or had their tamper-evident seals broken can't be returned unless they're faulty. If your device develops a fault, it's covered by the manufacturer's warranty and we'll help you sort out a repair or replacement quickly and painlessly. Just contact our team and we'll guide you through the next steps.

What warranty do your vaporizers come with?

Every vaporizer comes with the manufacturer's official warranty, which varies by brand and model. Premium devices often carry generous cover: Storz & Bickel vaporizers, for example, are renowned for their long warranties, while Arizer covers its heating elements for the lifetime of the device. The exact length and terms are listed on each product page so you know precisely what you're getting. Because we only sell genuine, authorised stock, your warranty is always valid. If you ever need to make a claim, we're here to help make the process as smooth as possible.

Is your packaging discreet?

Yes. We know privacy matters, so every order is sent in plain, unbranded outer packaging with no mention of what's inside. There's nothing on the parcel to indicate it's a vaporizer, giving you complete discretion whether it's being delivered to your home or your workplace. Inside, of course, your device arrives in its proper retail box, fully protected and ready to enjoy. If you're after a device that's discreet to use as well as to receive, take a look at our pocket-sized portable vaporizers and stealth-friendly options.

Do I have to be 18 to order?

Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to buy from Herbal Vaporizers, and we operate age verification to make sure of it. Our vaporizers are sold strictly for use with legal dried herbs and botanicals by adults, and we don't condone any illegal use of our products. By placing an order you confirm that you're of legal age. It's a responsibility we take seriously, and it helps keep our community of vapers safe and above board.

What is a dry herb vaporizer?

A dry herb vaporizer is a device that gently heats your dried herbs or botanicals to a precise temperature, releasing their active compounds and aromas as an inhalable vapour, without ever setting them alight. Because there's no flame and no combustion, you get vapour rather than smoke, which many people find smoother and cleaner-tasting than traditional methods. Dry herb vaporizers come in two main forms: portable vaporizers you can use on the go, and desktop vaporizers designed for sessions at home. They range from simple, affordable devices to sophisticated, app-connected machines, but they all share the same goal: getting the most flavour and effect from your material, efficiently.

How is vaporizing different from smoking?

The key difference is heat. Smoking burns your material through combustion, producing smoke, tar and the harsh by-products of burning. A vaporizer instead heats your dried herbs to a lower temperature, below the point of combustion, so the active compounds and flavours are released as vapour rather than smoke. The result is typically smoother, cleaner-tasting and far less harsh on the throat, with less lingering odour too. Vaporizing also tends to be more efficient, as you're gently extracting from your material rather than burning it away. It's worth saying that no method is risk-free, but many people switch to vaporizing precisely because it avoids the smoke that comes with a naked flame.

Convection or conduction, what's the difference?

These are the two main ways a vaporizer heats your herbs. Conduction works by direct contact: your material sits against a heated surface, rather like a pan on a hob. It's quick to heat up and often more affordable, though it can heat a little unevenly. Convection works by passing hot air through your herbs, much like a fan oven, which generally gives more even extraction, better flavour and less risk of scorching, though it can cost a little more. Some vaporizers, like several Storz & Bickel models, use a hybrid of both for the best of each. If pure flavour is your priority, a convection vaporizer is usually the way to go; if simplicity and value matter most, conduction does the job nicely.

What temperature should I set my vaporizer to?

There's no single right temperature, it comes down to taste and the experience you're after. As a rough guide, lower temperatures (around 170 to 185°C) tend to produce lighter, more flavourful and aromatic vapour, while higher temperatures (around 195 to 215°C) give denser, more intense clouds. Many vapers like to start low and gradually step the temperature up through a session to make the most of their material. The beauty of a good dry herb vaporizer is precise control, so we'd encourage you to experiment within your device's range to find your personal sweet spot. Most of our vaporizers let you adjust the temperature to the exact degree.

How should I grind my dry herbs?

Grinding is one of the simplest ways to improve your sessions. For most dry herb vaporizers, a medium-fine, even grind works best: fine enough to create plenty of surface area for the heat to work on, but not so fine that it falls through the chamber screen or restricts airflow. A decent grinder makes a real difference here, giving you a consistent, fluffy grind that packs evenly and vaporises smoothly. Avoid packing the chamber too tightly, as your device needs a little airflow to draw the heat through. Get the grind right and you'll notice better flavour, bigger clouds and more efficient use of your material.

How much material should I load?

Only load what you plan to use in a session. Most portable vaporizers have a chamber that holds somewhere between 0.1g and 0.3g, while desktop devices and larger ovens can take more. There's no need to fill the chamber to the brim: a loosely packed bowl that still allows air to flow through will vaporise more evenly and taste better than one that's crammed full. If you're vaping solo, many devices let you use a smaller load or a reduced-volume insert so nothing goes to waste. The product page for each vaporizer lists its chamber capacity, so you can pick one that suits how much you like to vape at a time.

Do dry herb vaporizers smell?

They do produce an aroma while in use, but far less than smoking, and it tends to be lighter and to fade much more quickly, since there's no lingering smoke. If discretion is important to you, look for a portable vaporizer with a fully enclosed vapour path and a quick session time, and consider using it in a well-ventilated space. Some of our compact, stealth-friendly devices are designed specifically to keep things low-key. Storing your material in an airtight container and giving your device a regular clean will also help keep any odour to a minimum.

Can I use my vaporizer with a bong or water pipe?

Many can, yes. Water filtration cools and smooths the vapour, which a lot of vapers love, especially at higher temperatures. Several of our vaporizers, including various Arizer and Storz & Bickel models, either include a water pipe adapter or have one available, letting you connect the device to a bong or bubbler with a standard 14mm fitting. Desktop vaporizers like the Storz & Bickel Volcano can also be paired with glassware for a richer session. Check the individual product page or get in touch if you'd like to know whether a particular device is water-pipe compatible before you buy.

What's the best dry herb vaporizer for beginners?

The best beginner vaporizer is one that's simple to use, easy to clean and forgiving to live with, without costing the earth. We'd point newcomers towards approachable devices like the Storz & Bickel Veazy, the Xmax Starry 4 or the Yocan Hit 2, all of which offer straightforward controls, reliable performance and gentle learning curves. If you'd like a bit more flavour and flexibility, the Arizer range is famously easy to get along with too. Our Vaporizers for Beginners collection gathers our top picks in one place. And if you're still unsure, just tell us your budget and how you like to vape, and we'll happily recommend the right starting point.

What's the best dry herb vaporizer under £100?

There's never been more choice at this price. Under £100, you can pick up genuinely excellent portable vaporizers that punch well above their weight. The Xmax V4 Pro and V3 Pro are firm favourites, offering true convection heating, full temperature control and replaceable batteries for the money. The Xmax Starry 4 and Yocan Hit 2 are also superb value, with easy operation and dependable performance. If budget is your main concern, browse our Under £50 and £50 to £150 collections to compare the best affordable dry herb vaporizers in the UK side by side. Spending a little more generally buys better flavour, battery life and build, but there are real gems to be found here.

What's the best premium dry herb vaporizer?

If you want the very best, the premium end of our range is where the magic happens. The Storz & Bickel Mighty+ and Venty are widely regarded as among the finest portable vaporizers ever made, combining hybrid heating, superb flavour and rock-solid reliability. For the ultimate home setup, the legendary Storz & Bickel Volcano delivers balloon-filled, group-friendly sessions like nothing else. The handmade Tinymight 2, with its powerful pure-convection heater and on-demand draws, is a flavour-chaser's dream. You'll find these and more in our Premium £300+ and Connoisseur collections, devices built to be enjoyed for years.

Portable or desktop, which should I choose?

It comes down to where and how you'll vape. Portable vaporizers are compact, battery-powered and designed to go wherever you do, ideal if you want to vape on the move, discreetly, or simply prefer something pocket-sized. Desktop vaporizers are larger, mains-powered devices that stay at home; what you give up in portability you gain in sheer power, vapour quality and the ability to share a session, as with the balloon-filling Storz & Bickel Volcano. If you mostly vape at home and want the best possible experience, a desktop is hard to beat. If flexibility and convenience matter more, a portable vaporizer is the natural choice. Plenty of vapers happily own one of each.

Which brand is right for me?

Each brand we stock has its own character. Storz & Bickel is the gold standard: German-engineered, beautifully built and the choice for those who want the best, from the portable Mighty+ to the iconic Volcano. Arizer is loved for clean, glass-cooled flavour and excellent value, with the Solo 3 and pocket-friendly Go SRT leading the way. Xmax delivers brilliant convection performance at affordable prices, while Yocan is the go-to for wallet-friendly dab pens and 510 batteries. Tinymight makes handcrafted, flavour-focused devices for enthusiasts, and Nectar offers versatile, do-it-all portables. Browse each brand's collection, or tell us your priorities and we'll match you to the right maker.

Dry herb vaporizer vs dab pen, what's the difference?

They're built for different materials. A dry herb vaporizer is designed to heat dried herbs and botanicals, gently vaporising them in a chamber. A dab pen (or wax pen) is made for concentrates and extracts, using a heated coil or ceramic element to vaporise much smaller, more potent amounts. The two aren't interchangeable: putting concentrates in a dry herb chamber, or herbs in a dab pen, won't work well and can damage the device. Some versatile vaporizers, like the Nectar Gold 2.0, can handle both with the right accessory. If you're unsure which suits your material, our team is always happy to point you in the right direction.

Do you sell vaporizers for wax and concentrates?

We do. Alongside our dry herb range, we stock devices designed for concentrates and extracts, from dedicated dab pens to versatile vaporizers that handle both herbs and wax. Yocan is particularly strong here, with affordable, reliable options like the Ziva and UNI box mods, while the Nectar Gold 2.0 offers dry herb and concentrate compatibility in one device. You'll find everything in our Concentrate & Wax Vaporizers and 510 Thread Batteries collections. If you're new to concentrates, feel free to ask, and we'll explain how each option works so you can choose with confidence.
