Screens are the cheapest part of a Storz & Bickel and the one that most affects how it performs. The normal-mesh screen sits in the cooling unit cap and catches fine particles before they reach you. Once it clogs, draw resistance climbs and vapour quality drops, and no amount of cleaning the chamber will fix it.

Six genuine screens at approximately 15mm across, which is the size shared right across the S&B portable range.

These are the manufacturer's own screens, made to the tolerances the cooling unit expects. Aftermarket screens that sit even slightly loose let particles past, and ones that sit too tight restrict airflow. Neither is worth saving a couple of pounds over on a device this good.

The approximately 15mm normal screen is common across the Mighty, Mighty+, Crafty, Crafty+, Venty and Veazy. Unlike cooling units, which are strictly model-specific, screens do cross over, so one pack covers whatever is in your collection.

Cleaning And Maintenance

Storz & Bickel recommend brushing the screen after each use with the cleaning brush. Screens can be rinsed with water or cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and must be dried fully before refitting. Replace rather than clean once the mesh stays discoloured or draw resistance does not improve.
