Most 510 pens make you choose between a dial and buttons. The Lux 2.0 gives you both: a 360 degree cyclic dial on the top that spins straight past 4.2V back round to 1.8V without winding back down, and plus and minus buttons on the body for fine adjustment. Whichever you reach for, the OLED screen tells you exactly where you are.
The body is stainless steel rather than the alloy most pens use, and it feels it. Five colours.

Key Features
A 360 Degree Cyclic Dial
The top dial keeps turning in one direction and cycles from 4.2V straight back to 1.8V. It sounds like a small detail until you have used a dial that stops at each end and forces you to wind all the way back. Adjustment takes a second and you can do it without looking.
The Screen Reads Your Cartridge
As well as voltage, battery level and a puff counter, the OLED shows the resistance of the cartridge you have fitted in ohms, and counts the seconds of each draw. Knowing the resistance is genuinely useful, because it tells you roughly where on the voltage range that particular cartridge wants to sit.

Stainless Steel Body
Yocan built this one in stainless steel, and it gives the Lux 2.0 a weight and a solidity that plastic-shelled pens do not have. It takes a knock without marking and it does not feel like a disposable.
Charges In Around Fifty Minutes
The 400mAh cell is modest, but USB-C brings it back to full in roughly fifty minutes, which is the fastest of the Yocan pens we stock. The port sits on the side, so it stands upright while it charges.
Ten Second Preheat
Double-click the power button and it runs a 1.8V preheat for ten seconds, with the countdown shown on screen. Thick oils loosen, the first draw behaves like the rest, and the timer means you are not guessing when it has finished.
How To Use The Yocan Lux 2.0
- Screw your 510 cartridge into the top, turning clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Click the power button five times to switch the battery on. The screen will show the cartridge resistance.
- Set your voltage with the top dial or the plus and minus buttons. Around 2.8V is a sensible starting point.
- Hold the button and draw. Double-click first for a ten second preheat if your oil is thick.
Cleaning And Maintenance
Clean the 510 thread with a cotton bud and a little isopropyl alcohol whenever oil works its way in, and allow it to dry completely before refitting a cartridge. Keep the dial free of residue so it continues to turn smoothly, and wipe the steel body with a dry cloth. If the resistance reading looks wrong, clean the connection before assuming the cartridge is at fault.

Who Is The Yocan Lux 2.0 For?
- You want a dial and buttons rather than being made to pick one.
- You like knowing your cartridge resistance before you set a voltage.
- You want a steel body rather than a plastic one.
- You charge in short bursts and value a fifty minute turnaround.
Who Might Want To Look Elsewhere?
At 400mAh the Lux 2.0 carries less capacity than the Yocan Ari 2.0 at 650mAh, so heavy users will be charging it more often. Nothing but the battery is in the box, so you will need your own USB-C cable, and cartridges below 0.8Ω will not fire.

The Final Word
The Lux 2.0 is the most thoughtfully built 510 pen in the Yocan range. The cyclic dial is better than it has any right to be, the ohm readout is a genuinely useful piece of information, and the steel body lifts it above the usual. Take the Ari 2.0 if runtime matters more; take this if the details do.
