The Anix Uranus is the most complete device in the Anix range, and it shows in the details. A honeycomb cooling insert in the mouthpiece, haptic feedback so you know it is ready without looking, a session timer on the OLED and an aluminium body that feels considerably more expensive than it is.
Its flat, wide 103 x 50 x 27mm form factor sets it apart too, sitting in the palm rather than sticking out of a pocket. Available in Black and Silver.

Key Features
Honeycomb Cooling Mouthpiece
The magnetic mouthpiece houses a perforated honeycomb lattice that vapour passes through on its way to you. Splitting the flow across dozens of small channels increases the surface area available for cooling, which takes the edge off higher-temperature draws without adding water or bulk. It is the single biggest reason the Uranus draws smoother than its price suggests.
SUS304 Chamber With A Ceramic Element
A pure ceramic heating element sits behind an SUS304 stainless steel chamber, heating it evenly and reaching temperature in around forty seconds. Ceramic is inert and flavour-neutral, and pairing it with a steel chamber gives you clean, consistent heat with nothing added along the way.

Haptic Feedback And A Session Timer
The Uranus buzzes when it reaches temperature and again when your session is ending, so it can stay in your pocket while it heats. The 0.66-inch OLED shows your set temperature, battery level and a running session timer, which is genuinely useful for pacing a bowl properly rather than guessing.
Isolated Air Path
Air is drawn along a dedicated channel that never touches the electronics, so what reaches you has passed over your herb and nothing else. Combined with the honeycomb cooling stage, it makes for a noticeably cleaner draw.
Full Precision Control And Protection
Adjust anywhere between 149°C and 224°C to suit your material and your mood. The 2200mAh battery charges over USB-C at 5V/1A and carries short-circuit, low-voltage, overcurrent and output-short protection as standard.

How To Use The Anix Uranus
- Lift the magnetic mouthpiece away and load the chamber with medium-ground dry herb, packed lightly.
- Refit the mouthpiece and press the power button five times to switch on.
- Set your temperature with the up and down buttons, then wait roughly forty seconds.
- The device will vibrate when it is ready. Draw slowly and use the on-screen timer to pace your session.
Cleaning And Maintenance
Pull the honeycomb insert from the mouthpiece and soak it, along with the mesh screen, in isopropyl alcohol for around half an hour. Rinse in warm water and dry completely. Brush the chamber out while it is still slightly warm. Replacement honeycomb inserts and screens are available from Anix.
Who Is The Anix Uranus For?
- You want the smoothest draw available at this end of the market.
- You like haptic feedback and a session timer rather than watching a screen.
- You prefer a flat, palm-sized device to a tube-shaped one.
- You want an aluminium body that will survive being carried about.
Who Might Want To Look Elsewhere?
The Uranus is the heaviest device in the Anix range and its wide, flat shape suits a jacket pocket better than a jeans pocket. If maximum discretion is the priority, the pen-shaped Anix Pluto is a better fit. The battery is built in rather than swappable, and as with the rest of the range this is a conduction-style device rather than a pure convection one.

The Final Word
The Uranus takes the sensible bits of the Anix range and adds the things you normally only find further up the market: real vapour cooling, haptic feedback and a timer that helps you get the most from every bowl. If you want the best-drawing device Anix makes and can live with a slightly larger footprint, this is it.
