The stock mouthpiece on a V3 Pro or V4 Pro does its job, but swapping it for glass is the single most worthwhile upgrade available for either device. The vapour path becomes glass and stainless steel only, with no plastic anywhere, and the difference in flavour is immediately obvious.

Two options. The Standard assembly is the straight glass upgrade. The 2-in-1 is Xmax's newer part, which works as a mouthpiece and a water pipe adapter in a single piece.

A Glass And Steel Vapour Path

The Standard version is a full assembly rather than one piece of glass: borosilicate mouthpiece, aluminium airflow cap, stainless mesh screen, an airflow disruptor that brings the vapour temperature down, and silicone grommets to seal it all. Nothing plastic touches the vapour.

The 2-in-1 Does Both Jobs

The 2-in-1 mouthpiece and adapter replaces two older parts with one. Use it as a direct mouthpiece, or drop it into a water tool at either 14.4mm or 18.8mm. It is the newer of the two designs and the more versatile.

Stronger Magnets, Better Fit

Both versions attach magnetically and hold noticeably more firmly than the stock mouthpiece. On the Standard assembly, the aluminium cap also gives you the option of inserting a whip, any standard 14mm male joint or an 810 drip tip.

Cleaning And Maintenance

Rinse with isopropyl alcohol or warm water and dry fully before refitting. Clean the mesh screen with a brush rather than blowing through a blocked mouthpiece, which can push the screen out of its holder. Regular cleaning is what keeps the airflow and the flavour where they should be.
